I was a client of Genevieve’s when she was based in Seattle and since I have found her a more sensitive and effective acupuncturist than others I have used, I am taking the ferry to Bainbridge to be able to continue to work with her. Devin McDermott is a breath of fresh air. As a health care provider serving Bainbridge Island for 40 years, I’ve been honored to collaborate with some stellar colleagues, and Devin is a welcome addition to the fold. She provides treatment that is at once professional and tailored to be personal, emphasizing the “caring” part of care. With a dyed-in-the-wool hard science background, I was at one time a bit skeptical of the benefits of acupuncture and TCM but with Devin’s deft handling of my issues I’m truly a convert. She likes to say “I’m not a healer, you heal yourself” but she is the conduit through which one heals. I highly recommend Devin to my Bainbridge neighbors, I think we’re lucky to have her.
