Avoid this breeder at all costs! Dana and Moonlit Acres have been breeding English Cream Golden Retrievers and Golden Doodles for awhile now. We selected her as our breeder based on the reviews that we saw on Google as well as recommendations. Unfortunately, we now know that she has been over breeding her dogs which is leading to these beautiful pups having serious medical issues. We are aware of at least 3 ECGR's that have had major medical issues (these are just the ones that we know of personally), two of which passed away before the age of 10 and a golden doodle that was bred that ended up being so overly aggressive that even after several thousands of dollars of behavioral/training, still had to be put down and Dana continues to breed the mother from that litter. We are heart broken at losing out english cream at such a young age due to a medical issue that could have been avoided with proper litter management. Before buying a dog from Moonlit Acres, please do your research, find out who the stud/dame is for the litter and make sure that it isn't a combination that has been overbred otherwise you will likely end up like us, with a wonderful, beautiful dog that develops serious, non-treatable medical issues and end up having a life much shorter than they should have.
I'm now on my second adopted pup through Moonlit Acres, and I'm happy to say that both Ellinor and Blueberry have been wonderful additions to my family. Ellie's now 3.5 years old and doing service work for her other parent, and Blueberry's my newest service dog in training.
