Jeff and his staff get the job done quickly and professionally, and communication is efficient. However, the way in which he has spoken to me over the phone and in emails on a couple-few occasions could have been improved and gentler--less demanding and bossy. Jeff can be quite defensive, harsh and abrasive, especially when he finds out that you may still be shopping around and haven't yet decided that Mortgage Grader is going to be the company to process your mortgage or re-fi. He is not the type that would kindly and understandingly encourage you to shop around, but, rather, belittle you into going with his company, insisting it is unlikely you will do better elsewhere. That may be true, but if he is so confident, he should encourage you to shop around. It is possible that, because he publishes a newsletter, his status has gone to his head.
