I first tried Mother Wolf at Vegas and loved it. I was excited to take my friends out here at the Los Angeles location but it didn't live up to the expectations.
Everything about this location pales compared to their Vegas location. Service wasn't upto the mark and we had to really work hard to get our servers attention most of the times.
Ambience is acceptable though I would prefer it wasn't as dark. Most peopke on tables were struggling to read menu in the dim lighting and we could see lot of flash lights on.
All said and done I wish food was upto the standards that we experienced in Vegas but it wasn't to be.
Pizza was over cooked and meat on it was very salty.
We tried LA Mortazza as well which was more like meat wrapped On a soft pita bread or pizza bread kind of sandwich. No one on the table liked it.
The Shrimp appetizer was very good.
Pasta with Arabiatta sauce was the best of lot.
Lamb skewers were not good. Very chewy and fatty.
We also tried couple of desserts. Tiramisu and some shortbread kind of thing. Tiramisu was a hit while this shortbread was below average.
Overall I would give this 2.5 stars having rated the Vegas facility a full 5 stars which is disappointing.
If I crave for Mother Wolf again, it would the Vegas location that I will head to.
