I highly recommend doing the rail bike tour. We had such a great time. The bikes are electric, you only need to pedal if you want to. The Fruit company had great treats and the Mt Hood Winery had great wine. The scenery along the way was awesome. Very kind and helpful guides too.

They were wonderful!! We had a few last minute changes and because we didn't buy the insurance we were almost out of luck. They are very strict on that policy. However, they did help us shift to another time and work things out.
Overall it was a great experience and the views and ride was wonderful. We had a fantastic time and would ride again if we are in the area.

The Mt Hood Rail Bikes are a ton of fun! Going up hill is no problem since they are power assisted so anyone can do it. Going back down, you still have the power option but they let you go a bit faster. The crew is really friendly and everyone is in a great mood. You take a 45 minute break at the top to check out the Fruit Company gift shop and the winery across the parking lot. I highly recommend this little excursion in Hood River!
