This past Saturday afternoon I brought in my friend's Ephiphone for some repairs (output jack was broken) and it needed new strings and a setup. It hadnt been played in years and looked like it. At the same time I brought in my arch top for new strings.
I got a call today (1 day later) that both were ready. I looked at my friend's guitar, and what before looked like an old beaten up guitar, now looked practically new. Plus the setup was great.
My arch top is back to playing like you're cutting warm butter.
