Mrs. Keys is priced very reasonably. They are talented locksmiths who run an ethical business.
I snapped the key to my 1991 M-B 300SE. I started using the valet key and put off getting a spare made. I lost the valet key one day while at Northgate market. It was my only key. Just as the stupidity I felt for procrastinating was reaching a crescendo my eyes did behold a most welcome sight. That sight was a funky shack on the opposite end of the parking lot with a sign that read Mrs. Keys. The locksmith followed me back to my vehicle, and probed the lock with a single tool for about five seconds. He then proceeded to cut me three fully functional keys from memory back in his shop. It all took less than 10 minutes, and paid about 1/10 of what I was expecting. To my chagrin, I later discovered an unused factory-issued spare key embedded in the vehicle's paperwork in my filing cabinet. I compared it to my unused copies from Mrs. Keys and they were completely indistinguishable. Cut on the exact same key stock and everything. Amazing!
