The location is great, the campground host was super friendly and helpful, greeting us upon arrival and providing an orientation to the campground and the area, and the showers and laundry area were nicely maintained. The tent camping area, however, is just an open, lumpy field with a lot of uneven ground and tons of large holes that you could literally break your ankle in. We were fortunate to arrive early enough to find some shade at the one end, but much of it is wide open with no shade. And there are no picnic tables, so you basically have to set up your camp stove, your food, plates, etc. on the uneven ground in the grass and dirt. It's very difficult to prepare and eat food. I've never had to bring my own table to a campground. If they would grade the area, fill in the holes and provide some tables, this place would get a 5/5.

Charles, the host, was very kind to us. The campground was quiet, surrounded by native berries. Most campers are residents, and they have a nice, well put together garden. We didn't spend enough time to take the scenic walk behind the campground. Highly recommend and would come back! Cheers!

We stayed there almost two weeks and didn’t want to leave. Loved our spots and the full time residents are so nice. It’s so convenient for hiking all the trails at mt baker and right next to a great casual restaurant. Loved how quiet it was and used the laundry facilities that were great. Will definitely be back !!!!
