it was a great place to stay we only stayed for one night but it was very nice. we had a front room so it was close to the road but we moved to the back for a more quiet area. there was ice available which was very nice. we also loved the ability to have a movie for the end of the day.

First of all - I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was the cleanest room ever!! We were in a suite, which had a full kitchen and a living room with glass doors that led to a furnished patio. It was just lovely! This is clearly a property that is cherished by the owners. If we are ever in this area again, this is where we will stay.

Mt Gardner Inn is a quaint property at the foothills of the Cascades. There are only a small handful of rooms here. I stayed in one of the units in the building connected to the lobby. There are some additional rooms in a building behind this, but I can't speak for those. This is not a traditional hotel as mostly everything is self-serve. I didn't see anyone at the lobby during my stay there. That means you check in and out without interacting with a person. I don't mind that, but there are instances when it is helpful to have a person to speak to. The room was clean, modern, and basic. It had everything I needed, but there was nothing above and beyond to make it a 5 star property. This is a good property to pick if you do not want any bells and whistles.
