Great service and gorgeous view, with a lot of parkings. There is a lot of information to discover. The kids enjoyed a lot, finally it's hard to get them leave.

Great interactive displays and video replays of what happened back in 1980. Short and easy trail to hike to see how the surrounding area has been rehabilitated from all that destruction

Not the official learning center of Mt. Saint Helen but worth a visit to learn more about the volcano's devastating effect upon the forest.

I learned much about the damage upon the forest and the efforts made to salvage timber in the area. I got to learn the process of how the timber company, Weyerhaeuser, decide which logs would be salvage and which didn't. I also learned about their reforestation process which is noticeable along the highway. There is also a great discovery center that provides hands on learning for all ages.

Beautiful trails along the property with great views of the forest and Mt. Saint Helens. Small gift shop is available.
