We came today to try to paint with our kids at 6:15pm. They were very excited to paint but the teenagers in charge of mudhouse pottery painting told us that they were gonna close at 7pm and seemed very annoyed that we showed up. We told them that we only needed at least 30 min there but they gave us the stare look like it was super awkward and stated that people needed at least 1.5 hours to paint when we’ve been there before in and out in 30 minutes. The website says it closes at 8 if there are customers inside at 7, so it just seems like they wanted to close early and were trying to ward us off.

Friendly staff and suitable for kids but there aren't many options to choose from for painting. My toddler enjoyed the time we spent there.

Wanted to find something to do in Issaquah -- Found this place on Google maps! Cute place tucked in Gillman Village. The selection of what can be painted was more than what I expected! Come in, pick out what you want to paint, sit down and listen to an employee on how to begin! Pick your paint, use a tile as a palette, and paint! There are small squeeze bottles that are available for more detailed lines or designs. Sponges and larger brushes are provided as well. This place is great for all ages!
