I absolutely lucked out by finding Multifixitman's Auto Repair after having a harrowing breakdown on nearby Interstate 5. Gerald, the ultra capable owner of Multifixitman 's Auto Repair, answered my call from an I5 rest area, which was a blessing because I needed help right away as I was stranded, and met me after I had my Honda minivan towed in to his well equipped shop. Gerald quickly and competently diagnosed the problem and ordered and installed the new part ASAP. The price was excellent and the service exemplary. He took a situation which looked like it might be a long expensive ordeal and reduced it to a feel good story. I highly recommend contacting Gerald if you need auto repair or service. My experience couldn't have been better.

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! We got stuck on I5 stranded and called a tow truck to this shop. The owner said that we could come in even though it technically was past business hours. They met us with open arms and offered us a seat in front of an air conditioner and even offered us a cold bottle of water because it was sooo warm. He got right to work and fixed the problem and within 2 hours the car was back to normal. Gerald is a great licensed mechanic and has been for many years. He fixes cars out of his professional garage behind his house but it is great and he has every tool to do the job correctly! They even called us once we were on the road to make sure that the car was working correctly and that we were doing okay! I have never had any other mechanic do anything like that. They have the greatest hospitality and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great mechanic near I5 and Bakersfield!!

Nothing but great things to say about this shop. Gerald is very kind and knowledgeable. It’s a very mom and pop atmosphere, don’t be put off that the shop is on a home property, the tools and equipment are just as extensive as any big name garage! When my fuel pump went bad just off the I-5, I was towed here after calling and being welcomed with a great attitude towards getting it done as soon as possible. I was patient while Gerald finished up a project to free a lift for my rig, then he proceded to work several hours after closing time to get me on the road! I got to watch the process too which I really enjoyed. The cost was far less than quoted by other shops, and the work is genuine. Thank you Gerald!
