The MEC is receiving three stars due to my experience being for the most part positive. I check out equipment on a weekly basis and usually can get what I need. The staff the provides decent customer service. I have called many times and received the information I was asking for. When it comes to what the MEC could improve on, inventory is DEFINITELY a flaw. for example Cameras are not often readily available to students due to demand. The only other problem I have had with the MEC is when an employee told me they could put me on the reserve list, even though I had a camera. She told me it was frowned up, but said we could try. I signed up on the reserve list and was told I was set. When I went to return the original camera, I was told they could not and would be 5th on the wait list. I was not informed about being removed or not added at all. Normally, that wouldn't have been a problem, but I had an assignment I needed to have the camera for that day. Upon revisiting the MEC I received little help from the staff to correct the situation. Although I think overall the MEC is a great resource they do have some improvement to be made.
