This place really was quite lovely. It was clean, refreshing, and their charcuterie option was delicious. I loved that jam, surprised they don’t sell the jar. However, I can only rate three stars because of their receptionists at the time.
I was a guest joining a friend there but I arrived early. I gave my friends name etc but was told she didn’t have an appointment whatever. I understand they allow members to walk in to enjoy the pool, that was our intention. I explained that to the ladies but I was still told I would have to pay.
I left and my friend called and settled the whole thing and we had a genuine time. I just hate the prejudice that was clearly portrayed towards me before she called in and arrived. Even as we were leaving, one girl really tried to amend the earlier problem and gave me a ticket to enter into whatever giveaway they were doing at the time. I appreciate the sincerity from her, but the other girl was clearly still upset and it was easy to see in her demeanor.
It sucks when people can ruin a good thing. Especially a worker. I don’t think I would ever return to this destination because why would I pay to be judged unfairly and treated poorly. I mean, shout out to my friend for the rescue, but strangers should still know how to serve others without such prejudice, and one should always expect a person offering a service to conduct themselves as such.
I really want to give two stars, but majority of the other staff was kind so I’ll keep it at three.
