This museum is smaller and less formal than some of the other local museums we’ve been visiting in central Washington state. Still, it was well worth the visit with a nice assortment of artifacts, and told the story of Benton County including information on the Hanford site. It also had one really neat thing, that made the whole visit worthwhile. And these were handmade floor tiles made from slices of polished petrified wood, these were absolutely amazing. When I first saw them I thought they had to be fake, some kind of artificial product. If you appreciate beautiful building materials stop and just to see the tiles. You will not be disappointed!

I love the local history they highlight. There is a fun train table and doll house for kids to play with. "Escape room" style puzzle games. Movie theatre with rotating themes. We've been 3 times over the course of a year and there have been a couple new things each time.

Small place but they are doing a lot for the community. They have a hands on kids exhibit right now. The kids had so much fun and the adults had a good time as well.
