Fantastic experience for a reasonable price. Great exhibits and friendly staff.
I absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves movies and pop culture visiting the area. Great place with interactive activities for kids too!
Nice museum if you have few hours to spend. I liked the sound lab the best - there’s jam rooms and areas where you can play instruments. Other collections are also good.
Their guitar collection and wall guitars is mighty impressive.
I have a long history with this museum. I’m proud to say I was one of his first employees! I stood listening to Layla play on repeat over and over again for a whole summer and I loved it.
That was before all the name changes, and it’s expansion into the science fiction museum? I’m not sure what that wing is now called. But I do think it makes for a fun experience.
I was disappointed that the Horror section was closed but enjoyed the rest of it. It does seem less “experiential” than back when it was the Experience music project. Also, I might add a lot less music.
I thought it was a bit expensive- even for Seattle. I was also a bit miffed that you had to pay extra for the special exhibit. I mean it was six bucks! Just include it with the price of entry.
