I put my son on three waitlists for daycare when I was four months pregnant thinking I was ahead of the game. Fast forward 6.5 months later when I was well into maternity leave, I still hadn’t been called off any of them. I was overwhelmed with being a new mom and terrified that I wouldn’t find a place I felt comfortable leaving my son. I reached out to Michele and Monet at MBOJ to see where I was on their waitlist, and told them how worried I was. They bent over backwards for me, saying that my preferred location wasn’t available yet, but that they had a spot at one of their other locations and would transfer us as soon as a spot opened up near my house. Now, this interaction came on the heels of me reaching out to another daycare who treated me like a number and displayed zero empathy. I will never forget the genuine care MBOJ showed to me. Fast-forward to now and my son has been at MBOJ since he was 3 mo and he’s now 7 mo. I feel that teachers there genuinely care for my son. They share great stories of his day, and I love the report cards they write. They also work with the kids to make special cards for Mom and Dad. (Sorry for the spoiler but it’s so cute!) Being a working Mom, it feels good to know that he is smiling and happy when I take him there. In fact, my husband and I agree that he has so much fun there that he’s bored when it’s just us on the weekends.
Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t say this....I read through the one-star review here, none of that is true. These people work incredibly hard and take great care of the children they work with. Look no further.
Thank you MBOJ!
