RUN AWAY. Do not look back.
Mynd is awful. As a seasoned landlord, we hired Mynd to manage our 2 investment properties in Las Vegas, NV. There were so many shortcomings I gave them grace for. They do NOT respond quickly enough. They have NO pulse on your property. I had a tenant move out by 6/15/23 and asked Mynd if the move out has been complete? They had NO idea. The accounting is atrocious, zero transparency, and they charge you left and right. Their monthly distribution invoice makes zero sense. Rent in minus fees and invoices = monthly distribution – you’d think it would be pretty straight forward, but it is not. Mynd is an absolute $hit$how. As landlords, we hire them to be us on the ground, but Mynd just milks you for money and does nothing to help the tenant or the landlord. I ended up communicating with the tenant directly to correct various issues.
Needless to say, we notified Mynd our wish to terminate the relationship. Here I am 6 months later with more Mynd issues. 6 months after termination, I receive a “request for funds” from Mynd. • January 23, 2024 - I notify Mynd of termination. Mynd holds the account for 60 days to finalize invoices. • February 27, 2024 - A subject invoice is paid. • March 28, 2024 - Offboarding FINALIZED AND COMPLETE. • June 14, 2024 - Mynd sends me a request for funds for the above-referenced invoice paid February 27, 2024. This invoice should have been accounted for during the finalization. Now they are threatening to send me to collections because their accounting department can’t do their basic job. Ridiculous. DO NOT HIRE MYND.
