Usually when you walk into a nail salon you’re greeted with a hello and smile. Not here. You walk in they ask what you want. Figured maybe it was a one time mishap. Was not. My daughter was treated the same way. Now on to the nail service. If you like your nails to be bumpy different shapes and length, to turn down at the tip or to turn up than this is your place. Next is the color. I asked for purple thinking it would be a gel polish like every other salon does. No she did colored acrylic. Didn’t ask if that was ok. Usually you do clear so you’re able to change colors with each appointment. The only solution is to soak off your full set and start fresh when you want a color change. The nails were so flat (minus the thick tips), you’re supposed to have an apex in the middle to keep the weight off the end of your nail and keep from damage occurring. These nails had zero apex. They were one of the ugliest nails I’ve had in regards to the shape. Don’t bother asking for your cuticles to be done that’s an extra almost $20 charge. And for what? To have her trim off some excess cuticle. For $90 I would expect to have the best shaped nails. The only positive thing was she does some nice flower designs. It was just a huge disappointment. I had to find another nail salon to fix this mess. Don’t get me started on the lack of personality of the owner. Just save your money and go elsewhere Just because you have a business in Anacortes does not mean you can charge luxury prices for dollar general quality. Be pleasant, greet your customers with a smile and pretend you’re happy to see them. We are who pays your bills and keeps your business open. I hate to write reviews to dis a business but after this experience and the extreme amount charged I hope to spare others from experiencing the same disaster myself and my daughter went through.
