My oldest daughter recently completed her 2nd year at Narrows and is off to kindergarten while her sister is preparing for her first year at Narrows. We love this school. The supportive and friendly atmosphere among the parents and staff have made it a great place for us and our kids. Being a co-op school, parents are required to work in the classrooms and earn credits throughout the school year. This has never been a problem for us as there are many options available. Great teachers, great kids, and a wonderful learning environment.

We have had a great experience here! Initially I did not know what a coop preschool was but we signed up because of my child needed some consistent activities and they wanted to be in preschool like their older sibling. I quickly realized it was not only a GREAT learning opportunity for our kid but also a great community of like minded parents. Our child has learned so many things! We absolutely LOVE Teacher Jessica and the friends we have made. I have enjoyed being a part of the classroom and watching each one of the kids grow. I love the support from Bates and learning about child development. Initially I was worried about the time commitment of a co-op but quickly realized it is doable with my part time work schedule and my older child's classes. My child has benefitted a great deal from learning the routine of preschool and interacting with different kids. It also is great camaraderie of other families with kids learning the same social and educational skills. The bates commitment for education credits really just meant that we were attending the fun activities hosted by the school. If you are looking for a community and somewhere that your child can flourish then this is the place for you.
