Beautiful and peaceful place! All the buildings were closed when we arrived but we had an enjoyable time admiring the well-designed and maintained grounds.

It's a quaint and well preserved and maintained grounds and memorial to Ceasar Chavez, his cohort of farm labor leaders, and all their achievements. The visitor center is very nice and has a simple but informative walk through picture story. There's also a very informative recreation of a farm worker's living space during the movement, and a viewing window into the preserved office of Chavez himself. The ground are beautiful with a nice walking path and fountains in and around the courtyard where caesar and helen chavez rest.

A very nice stop that has historical significance. The grounds were terrific. The graves were solemn and respectful. A photography exhibit indoors showed a part of the story of the 1960s farm labor movement. However, greater context was missing. How many laborers were there? How were the strikebreakers treated? Who were they striking against specifically? What were the specific requests during negotiations? What was the outcome? Did the results hold afterward? I learned most of this from Wikipedia after our visit. The park employee said the park was a work in progress but that they had a ways to go. Chavez's 10 principles were a very good read. Many of the photos were amazing. A fine visit to a unique place.
