I used this company back in 2012, by a referral. I was told and it is documented on the inspection report, by the property inspector, that I was on sewage. I Found out that I am on septic, by the county and plumbers. This is a huge problem being that the septic tank needs to be cleaned out and the cost is out of my budget because I spent $24,000.00 on plumbing. The inspector did not mention that he does not check plumbing or suggested to hire a sewage inspector. I was a first time buyer neither the inspector nor real estate agent made any suggestions. I feel that National Property Inspections should pay for the cost of the maintenance to have the septic tank cleaned out for their misleading guidance.

Thank you very much for your report. I have read it carefully, and was blown away by how useful and informative it is. I have seen many of these kinds of reports, and yours is easily the best style I have ever seen.

The problem was, after I have lived in the house for a while - that I have encountered many problems which should have been noted after your inspection. Of 3 outside doors, two are in such bad shape, I cannot use them, Electrical problems were too numerous to list here, but included faulty wiring and wall sockets hanging off the wall in a dangerous fashion.

I now feel that your service was actually designed to help the realtor finish a quick sale, rather than helping me understand what problems exist with a house I am purchasing

My wife and I are first time home buyers, and we used Andy at National Property Inspections. He was very professional, took his job very seriously, and honestly, the type of person I'd invite into my home for coffee. He took lots of time at the end to walk us through the entire home to give us all the details, and even taught us a few things about maintaining various aspects of our home. Another review on here gave him one star for failing to tell them about the septic system. I'd say to them, they need to understand the scope of an inspector's work before they try and lose them business by leaving a one star review. All in all, we were very happy with Andy, and will certainly be recommending him to friends/family in the future.
