I visited this botanical garden today for the first time, and I could not stop taking photos...this place is amazing!
The grounds are absolutely beautiful! It is very apparent that whomever tends the grounds puts alot of heart and soul into doing so, and I want to say thank you to them, because I was at such peace here, and I needed that ❤️
There are signs throughout the garden that inform you of the type of garden you are in, and what type of birds/wildlife the foliage and flowers in it attract, as well as the name of the flower/plant you are looking at, which I found extremely helpful, seeing as I am always looking for new ideas for my own yard. There are several greenhouses, and a composting site here too.
I really enjoyed being in the bird attraction section; super serene! Birds everywhere! There were squirrels, butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees throughout the grounds too.
There is also a densely wooded forest area with trees and ferns everywhere! It reminded me of hiking trails along the coast.
A woman in the same garden as me, said she had been coming here for some time now, and told me that the gardens hold all sorts of classes and learning seminars; that she had been to several, and they were fun and informative. She also said to definitely come check out the gardens with each changing season to see all of the different blooms.
I will 100% be back...probably this weekend 😊 I know I missed a few different areas, and this place is too beautiful not to see everything it has to offer. Anyone who is reading this review who has not been here yet...GO. You won't be disappointed.
