This was the worst experience that I have encountered dealing with Neiman Marcus. I received a email that my item was delivered and I was at curb side to pick it up. First the lady came to the vehicle and was very rude telling me that she couldn’t get a manger, and than finally said I had to come into the store after she looked into the bag to see what I was picking up was a $2500 purse that I ordered for my wife on Mother’s Day. She was on the phone already telling the lady that it didn’t have my name on it and it had a different address. Ok for one it had a different first name but the same last name. Which I never had this problem before picking it up anything with my name or my wife first name on it but since I was Black and after she looked into the bag to see what I was picking up it became a problem. I was explaining to them that I ordered this in paying for this and if u look it’s on my account or you can call and verify. DID THEY DO ANY OF THAT??? Hell no!!! They just told me you have to come in with your wife. So after a hour and half of arguing with them I went and set in my vehicle and decided to call affirm myself and see why this has happened. They apologized and said it was a mistake and asked me to take the phone into the store . Well no one could be found but a manager name Joe I explained to him everything that was going on , he got on the phone with them confirm that it was my account and he gave me my item. The other two ladies needs to be fired and allowed to be in a position to call themselves a manger because 4 hours later I’m still upset because they was too lazy to take any steps to verify anything . I feel like they didn’t try to verify a name , email, phone number or account information because I was black and that I was doing fraud! Stop stereotyping people and do your freaking job and take the necessary steps before just telling someone they are not getting it! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AND I WILL NEVER LET ANYONE IN MY FAMILY PURCHASES FROM THERE AGAIN UNTIL I GET A APOLOGY FROM THAT MANGER AND SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT ALL MY WASTED TIME that they took from me , when it could have been a simple verification instead of assuming that a black person cant purchase a item like this and was doing fraud!!!

Super service above all stores. I love getting spoiled there. This time I got to pick out my Christmas present…sigh. If I knew I could get into that dress I would have gotten that, too.

I live in LA and have visited the Neimans there, but when I’m in Plano I love to come to this one!!! The store has really great merchandise in stock. For example, I saw some amazing Valentino shoes on sale there yesterday for like 1/2 off!! I got my Manolo Blahnik wedding shoes here.
They also have a fabulous makeup and perfume counter, as well as a very extensive jewelry section featuring David Yurman and plenty of other independent-designer jewelry, which I love!! Every single employee I’ve talked to is very helpful and professional.
Honestly I like to just grab a cup of coffee and enjoy wandering around in here. Retail therapy is fun!
