Chucks used to be my market of choice even though the prices were slightly higher. The quality of the produce was good and the delicatessen was excellent, but what made Chucks special for me was its'friendly atmosphere. Since Chucks changed hands something has been lost. Gone is the breakfast cart, the gelato bar, and even the bulk foods section sedms a little degraded. Where Chucks used to seem like a community market it's now just another supermarket so I'm back to shopping based on prices again. Too bad. These days we need all the "community"we can get.
