Highly Recommend! Justine is super nice and flexible, also super affordable if you're looking for voice training. Words could never describe how grateful I am that I got to work with them!

What they don't tell you about 45 radiation treatments for a brain tumor: two strokes, multiple deep vein thrombosis blood clots and a collapsed carotid artery later, I can tell you that your post-treatment symptoms may include difficulties with speech, memory and concentration - like you might forget how to brush your teeth and floss, leading you to post the steps on your mirror. It is one of many strategies you might learn from “cognitive rehab,” an intensive therapy program for survivors whose lives have been upended by problems like seizures, brain fog, memory lapses, dizziness and debilitating fatigue. The constellation of lingering health problems that some patients experience — remains little understood. Clinics try different approaches to help patients desperate for answers, but there is little data on outcomes, doctors don't know what might work, and for which patients. Some physical symptoms like shortness of breath or nausea, can be addressed with medication, cognitive issues are more challenging. Few drugs exist, and while some deficits can rebound with time, they can also be exacerbated by resuming activities too soon or intensively. You can go from successfully juggling a demanding, detail-oriented job while helping an aging parent live with Alzheimer’s. Post radiation, you yourself might be placed in a pre-dementia category called mild cognitive impairment. You will feel that things are off, might approach a red light, your brain knows that it’s red, but it’s not communicating to the rest of your body to put your foot on the brake. It's terrifying. Session after session, for years on end at rehabilitation centers that help patients with brain injuries, strokes and other conditions treat thousands of survivors might give up on you. An occupational therapist, physical therapist and speech-language pathologist will give you exercises to strengthen your memory, concentration, balance and endurance. I am living proof that such therapy WORKS. Justine worked with me tirelessly until I regained much of my previous my capacity and without her I would still be lost. After her intense and creative sessions I felt like I was finally making progress, could independently practice between sessions, and make measurable progress. I am eternally grateful and highly recommend her!

Justine has been wonderful in helping me learn how to dial in forward resonance, the importance of laryngeal massage, and doing proper stretches during my warm ups.
She’s also absolutely delightful and a wonderfully gentle and kind person! Could not recommend her more!
