There are no complaints on the room, we stayed in room 11. It was spacious, clean, had a small refrigerator and microwave. The front patio had chairs and small fireplace. We enjoyed that aspect of our stay.||I only gave this a 2 * rating because a guy opened the door to our room UNINVITED. When he saw us, he said opps, Sorry, how embarrassing. My husband opened the door and asked how he was able to open the door. He replied he was the owner and knows the codes. ||We had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door handle on the outside. That would indicate, the room is occupied and do not enter. If the hotel staff wanted to enter, proper protocol is to knock first!!||I was totally creeped out

We stayed here as a quick getaway from LA and it was pretty good. Definitely more budget friendly than some of the other options in the area. It appears to have been redone during Covid with commensurate quality of furniture to the price per night. People drive fairly fast down Alisal Rd which creates a decent amount of road noise. The rooms have door codes so the lack of needing keys to get in was a plus also the checkin process was quick and easy. We would likely stay here again for the value for money and convenient walking distance to downtown.

Beautiful rooms! We stayed in the deluxe queen suite, room #9 downstairs. It faces the parking lot/courtyard but is surprisingly private with the window dressing - gauze curtains and accordion blinds. The room itself is lovely and bright, with ample windows and beautiful lighting. It’s surprisingly big - with a separate living room with a full size sofabed, tv, fridge+microwave. My only gripe is that lighting in the living room is not great at night (only a ceiling fan light), and the fridge hum can be quite loud if you need to sleep in the living room.||The bedroom is beautiful and spacious, the lighting is good, and the bed is comfortable. The AC blowing right next to the bed can be a bit loud though. The bathroom is big and bright, and there’s a TV in the bedroom as well.||The inn is a short walk into town. We did it at 7 in the morning and it was the best decision we made - catching the beautiful town just as it was waking up and the locals not too tired of tourists yet. The bakeries in town are open early in the morning and they serve the best danish and coffee.||I’m not a fan of the self-checkin. It requires you to have good connection and it’s too many email to keep track of when you’re on the road. But you might like it if you don’t like dealing with people. I didn’t talk to a single person at the inn the whole time we were there. It felt really impersonal to me.
