As long as Nick’s shop is open and I’m living in LA, I’ll be going to him for all of my car maintenance and repairs. He’s been the mechanic I’ve entrusted my car to ever since a friend recommended him six or so years ago. His prices are very reasonable (in the beginning I’d always call my dad to make sure lol), the service time efficient, and the work reliable and effective. Nick is also sensitive towards a limited budget, and honest about what repairs are truly needed and in what timeframe.
Beyond being excellent in his field and someone whose work and insight I trust, Nick also seems to be a genuinely good man. He has extended kindness in so many little ways over the years, whether it’s asking how my job is going and how my family’s doing, sharing his lunch while I sit in the waiting area, offering a ride home if my car has to left overnight, giving advice over the phone after a fender bender when I couldn’t think straight or remember what to do.. there are too many to even list here! I greatly appreciate Nick’s Auto and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
