I was there 2 weeks ago as I've been looking for a decent Italian restaurant that isn't hugely expensive. I had their spaghetti bolognese. It was not flavored well. Perhaps it was missing salt? Whatever it was... the sauce was bland even after dousing it in cheese to attempt to give it an oomph.
The cheesecake slice for dessert, however, was lovely. The berry topping was nicely tart to offset the sweetness of the cheesecake.

We have been going Nicolino’s for over 30 years. We were anxious to try out the restaurant now that the new owner has taken over. The entire restaurant (inside and out) has had a total refresh. Excellent outdoor patio seating. Service was excellent. Manager of the restaurant friendly, welcoming and engaging. We have dined twice since reopening. Both evenings the food was excellent. Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection.

Our experience here was good and bad. It was extremely busy when we got there and the hostess said they had seating outside in the covered patio which was heated. So we accepted and went outside thinking we would be able to eat much quicker than waiting for a seat inside. We were unfortunately wrong, it didn’t get us served any faster. I believe they were just short staffed, but seemed to continue to forget about serving the patio. They were definitely friendly and working hard, so that’s really the reason I didn’t rate it less. The food was very good, but the Caesar salad is more traditional, meaning it was a little more fishy than I like. Though the diner entrees were excellent! If we’re in the area again and craving Italian, it would be worth another try.
