I've been waiting all my life for a place like this in the high desert. The gentleman who was Indian, was so helpful in making choices and incredibly proud of his food-- and he had a reason to be! I ordered some butter chicken-which he made to order and even let me try to some in a cup to make sure it was okay spice wise (I got medium spice) . It was more than okay-- it was fantastic. I've had butter chicken from a couple places up here and it's always lacking in flavor, really buttery and the chicken is chewy and not tender. Nima's blows everyone else's butter chicken out of the water.
I could tell this was authentic because you could literally taste the flavors in the sauce-- the perfect blend of turmeric, garam masala, and cumin . The chicken in it was so tender and juicy-- all cooked in a clay oven.
Ordered the garlic naan and it was made right there-- the texture is thick, soft, and so flavorful.
He also let me try some of the goat curry which was absolutely spectacular- tender and flavorful --and probably the next thing I'll order.
The woman who works there is Mexican and we ordered some taquitos which were so good.
I highly highly recommend this place if you are a fan of Indian food and even if you're not-- this place will definitely change your mind!
