The food is as good as before. The fish is very fresh. Our kids love the udon and the California roll, and we ordered an extra one. The server is very nice and patient. It's my fourth time here and still highly recommended.

Specialty dishes are unconventionally delicious, I like the crab roll and spicy tuna tartare in particular, one of a kind, savory but not overwhelming. We also had various nigiri, like uni, sweet shrimp, toro, etc, very fresh, tastes warm (even the seared scallop). The soy sauce is a bit too salty though.

I recently dined at Nishino and was left underwhelmed, especially considering the price. For a meal for two, we spent around $300, but the food didn’t justify the cost. None of the dishes were outstanding, and the two tartare dishes were particularly awful, with both tasting like canned fish. The fish overall didn’t seem fresh, which was disappointing for a sushi restaurant. On the bright side, the drinks were nice, and the service was good, but given the high price and lackluster food, I wouldn’t recommend it.
