A small but very nice, informative Museum. A visit here is a great way to find out about the history of Black people in the Pacific Northwest. I was impressed by the inclusion of so many stories of Black life in the Northwest both by folks born here and by those who immigrated here. I was also impressed with the programming offered such as talks and workshops. This gem of a museum is definitely worth of visit.

A hidden jewel. The exhibits were diverse and multimedia artworks. A true cultural experience and an opportunity to see unique African American art. The book vending machine is a gift providing access to top Black literature. Go!

Came from Memphis TN to see this wonderful world of black history that I didn't know WA state even had. I wanna send a very special shoutout to Mia the receptionist who gave me the rundown on everything. Her soul was just as beautiful as her presence. Go check it out for $8
