Service was alright , surgeon doesnt check on you after surgery or calls you to see how your doing. Until post op appointment. I've had surgeries in the past and they all have checked in whenn I have woken up or call me that night to see how I was doing which I didn't see as good bed side matters. Also receptionist is kinda rude .

One star for Dr. Berghout is generous. Dr. Berghout does not seem to care about his patients; it's pretty evident he's just in it for the paycheck--not a characteristic you want in a healthcare provider! He spends as little time with his patients as possible and I mean in under two minutes he is trying to end the appointment. He is not thorough in his work and he is not concerned. Both my husband and I saw him multiple times, both of us for different reasons, and we are both very regretful that we ever went to see him. Dr. Berghout has wasted our time and our money.

I saw Dr. Nishimoto for a broken foot because I had heard he is very good with bunions, and I knew bunion surgery was in my future. He pinpointed the fracture in my second toe, but kept denying that I was having pain in the front of my ankle where the lower leg meets the foot. I kept complaining of pain there, and he kept telling me it was "referred" pain. I finally insisted on an MRI because I felt there were fractured bones, and torn ligaments, and he grabbed my foot with one hand and my lower leg with the other, and twisted them while pulling. I yelled, "What do you think you are doing?" He told me he was trying to prove to me that I was wrong. His nurse came running in when she heard me, and by then he was calm. After she left, he grabbed my foot and leg and did it again, then abruptly left the room. When the nurse came in I complained to her, but she couldn't say anything. Her job depended on it. A doctor at another clinic ordered an MRI and confirmed another fracture, and yes, torn ligaments and tendons. I will NEVER let that person touch me again! I have considered suing for malpractice. It has now been 7 years, and I still have pain and nerve damage, and can't drive for long periods without making symptoms worse.
