This was my first home purchase, and the home is a newly built home with a profound profile builder. At first, we were hesitant about if an inspection would be needed as we thought everything would be good. However, just as a precaution, we decided to get our home inspected and it was one of the best decisions we made for our new home. Jesse was so professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process of the inspection. He was very detailed with in-depth inspection knowledge for every corner of the new home from water, electric wiring, roof, attics, insulation, etc., and even to the basic pre-installed appliances. Even though the home is flawlessly built, I suggest newly home purchasing owners do a home inspection, and be with the inspector to learn about the home. We highly recommend Jesse!

Tim came out and did an afternoon inspection. Was incredibly detailed and answered my questions. Report was written up and available by 8am the next morning. Would use again!!

Just like you, I was looking for a renowned, well-established home inspecting company who can conduct a thorough housing inspection to reveal costly maintenance/repair issues if there is any. Northwest home inspector seemed like the right one. I read lots of great and sincere reviews on Jesse in the various platforms and he was the guy that I wanted to hire. But I ended up with Gregory - a long-time general contractor who started teaming up with Jesse from few years ago. I was not able to find out many reviews on Gregory as he was relatively new. I was seriously considering going with another inspector since there was lots of uncertainty on the levels of skills and experience of Gregory. Due to the short inspection period, I decided to just give it a try. You might be in the same situation just like me - whether to take Gregory or not when Jesse is not available. I have no experience of Jesse so I am not in the position of making a comparison. But I can say that Gregory was simply great - you might remember that he is a long-time general contractor and I was able to see how his experience from those times really shine during home inspection. He was very knowlegable about all the external/interior materials and appreciate how the builder paid careful attention to every detail for quality control. For maintenance issues, he even recommended all kinds of maintenance supplies you can buy in the Home Depot with their exact pictures in the final report. I realized right away that this report will be a reference during the entire stay at my new house. He also really goes extra miles and generously share his time after inspection to further talk about inspection results and next steps. If you are hesitating with Gregory, don't do that - he is simply thorough and sincere person who you can trust.
