Working our way through Olivia's kid friendly meal plan. It's parent friendly too! I'm loving this because of the creativity & ease of some of these recipes. Leave sugar out of baked goods, add spinach flax to waffles?! It's great. We're not following the plan so much, as trying the recipes as we go. spinach waffles, black bean burgers, overnight oats, cashew parm, kale pesto have all been hits. (Ok my kiddos still turn away at outright vegetables but just taking out the planning for dinner is a huge win)

Awesome experience! I live in the neighborhood and decided to check out Nourish Northwest. This is a perfect business for Hawthorne. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have to admit I was worried about coming in but everyone put me at ease. Now I am on the right track with diet and exercise. After my $20 two week trial was over I decided to go for one of their packages. In the past couple months I have been going to yoga and fitness classes, taken cooking classes and completed nutritional appointments. It is totally working, feeling great. The instructors are amazing. The cooking classes are fun, tasty, educational and inspiring. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Olivia (the owner of Nourish Northwest) is a good friend and when I told her that my doctor had recently suggested some extreme dietary restrictions to deal with a number of ongoing health issues, she helped me develop some great meal ideas (including dessert options) within minutes. The fact that she acknowledged my feelings of hopelessness while also maintaining a positive attitude was exactly what I needed in that moment. I know that she brings the same level of devotion and passion to her clients and I cannot recommend her enough! Thanks, Liv!
