I brought my car here a few months ago when the engine suddenly began making a loud whining noise. They told me the whine was coming from the timing chain side of the engine and there was also a rod knock. They wanted $4500 to rebuild the engine so I brought it to another shop for a second opinion. The other shop told me the whine was coming from the power steering pump (which is on the opposite side from the timing chain) and there was no knock. I replaced the power steering pump and my car resumed running perfectly and quietly, so the second shop was clearly correct. I don't know if this was attempted fraud or if they're just incompetent, but either way you should not bring your car here for any reason.
Edit: I've added my receipt to show that I did go to this shop. They misspelled my name on it which is probably why they couldn't find a record of my visit. The person behind the counter said it would be $4500 for an engine rebuild but didn't provide a written quote.
