Oakbrook is a high quality florist at a reasonable price which is rare to find, especially in the bay area.
I’ve had two exceptional experiences with Oakbrook. I received an orchid from my husband for my birthday, it was beautiful. I ordered an Easter arrangement last minute and Roy did an amazing job. He even switched out the vase for me.

Ordered 10 peonies for my daughter’s graduation. When I came to pick up, Roy (the owner) told me that he had added a couple more peonies for free, for fullness. The peonies themselves were gorgeous. But what I didn’t appreciate was the addition of Baby’s Breath and other greenery. Peonies are robust enough to stand on their own, and don’t need fillers. Their artistry on bouquet-making is dated and one-dimensional. Different types of flowers call for different styles of bouquets. I was in a hurry when picking up, otherwise would have asked Roy to remake it without the fillers.
