I had a sudden issue with my vision last night, so I checked my Medicare Advantage Plan app this morning for vision clinics that take my insurance. The first two I called don't take it. But Ocean EyeCare does! The first positive experience I had with Ocean EyeCare was when the person on the other end of the phone seemed genuinely happy for me when she heard the relief my voice. But they were booked up for weeks. I was okay with waiting, but when I told her my issue she did a little more digging and found that someone had canceled an appointment for today. PERFECT! It's a small office, the doctor herself did the entire exam (which is unusual in my experience, but it's awesome), gave me a comprehensive explanation of my issue, along with the images of my eyeballs and put my mind at ease that everything looked great and I had no reason to worry. My issue turned out to be typical for the aging process. And since my insurance covers it, I decided to choose a pair of frames, even though I don't really need them. This rare positive experience continued when the front office workers were more than happy to help me shop for the right frames. They were fun, kind, and patient with me. No eye exam appointment has ever gone this well, so I really felt that a same-day positive review was in order. I hope this business stays in Redmond for a long, long time. 🤓🙏🏻👍🏻
