We stayed here before and after going to Victoria Island on the ferry. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome. This is a small-town hotel, with lots of quirks that made it feel warm and cozy, like local art on the walls, maps to locate your hometown, and fun sinks outside of the bathroom for multiple people to get ready. After coming home late on the ferry, the manager even grabbed our bags and carried them up the stairs for us. Breakfast was simple but had lots of options hot and cold. Would definitely return.

This was such a quaint cute little inn. We loved this little place. I didn't like that it didn't have an elevator but not a huge ordeal just keep that in mind if you are booking online and have a disability like me that makes walking up stairs hard. Just get a ground floor room when booking. Everything else was perfect.
Also definitely check out the restaurant next door and get the elk burger!

I am already excited to return to the ocean star inn! This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. I agree with previous posters that it feels more like a B&B than a hotel. We arrived late at night and the front desk was so kind and accommodating to us. We arrived to a spotless room with original artwork. This morning we had the best continental breakfast we’ve ever experienced. The staff are so thoughtful and keep everything nicely tended to and stocked. I can’t wait to come back to this amazing spot!
