Stayed here knowing there was ongoing construction but didn’t expect such a bad experience. The carpet and chair had paint all over it. The shower barely worked, wasn’t able to get hot water in the shower. The TV was on when we got into the room, which I thought was odd. Come to find out the remote didn’t work for the power or sound. Why would it be left on with a remote that didn’t work? The worst part was in the morning when I went to make coffee the coffee maker was dirty, still had old coffee in it!! This room should out have been booked out, especially not for $85!

Wow. Where do I begin? We thought it would be a nice place to stay after having stayed there last year BEFORE the remodel. It was really dumpy then, so we figured, what the heck, let's go for it. They now have super bright floodlights throughout the whole property to deter car break ins. These lights are so bright, and the curtains in the rooms are so short that it looks like it's the middle of the day in the room all night long, making it impossible to sleep. The beds are extra hard, and they replaced the old frames with extra loud ones. The floor seemed like it hadn't been swept in a REALLY long time since it really stained the bottom of our clean socks whenever we walked on it. There was no place to hang up a coat. The room smelled strongly of paint. The toilet hardly flushed, even with only just liquid in the bowl, and it would run every so often. Plus, it wasn't bolted down to the floor firmly. The shower curtain was so low that water from the CHEST HIGH showerhead sprayed all over the tiny bathroom. If you dirty one of their thin postage stamp sized towels or ask for another one, they will charge you 20 bucks for it! There were nails protruding into the dresser drawers, so it's possible you could hurt yourself or, at the very least, your clothes! When we made the reservation, we asked for a lower room because we have mobility issues, but they didn't honor that. The location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Lastly, unless you slammed the door closed when shutting it, it kept randomly popping open. Also, the AC doesn't go below 65°F, so the room doesnt cool off very well. Sure, the price is decent, but I would highly recommend paying a little more and not staying here!

Booked through Priceline, room 213 Saturday aug.31. Someone opened our door at 10:30pm without any notice. They see me and run away without explanation. Thought it was a break in so I call lobby. They say it was maintenance for curtains, but opened the wrong room…Story doesn’t make sense. Why not knock if it’s just a maintenance for another customer.
Next morning I tell front desk, nothing was mentioned by night staff. All they told me is that maintenance can make a mistake.
Had a horrible sleep due to this experience.
