I agonized over finding a wedding photographer, and we are so happy that we made the decision to invest in Lia. She is a talented photographer with a great aesthetic, and was cool, calm, and fun throughout every stage of the process.
On our wedding day, Lia was patient and relaxed but efficient and totally on top of where we needed to be when, cycling through various family/bridal party photo combinations, and somehow managing to be both running the show and totally in the background, depending on the moment. In all the photos, everyone looks totally comfortable and happy (and gorgeous), which was how the wedding felt overall.
Lia’s photos (viewable on her user-friendly website) speak for themselves, and for her sharp eye for detail and excellent balance of formal and candid shots, but we can also vouch for her as a calming, positive, professional presence. She (and her second shooter, Andi) truly succeeded in beautifully capturing the color, spirit, energy, and joy of the day, and we’ll be forever grateful for that.
I cannot express how wonderful Lia is. I found Lia’s portfolio on instagram and fell in love with her aesthetic right away. I felt a sense of comfort looking at the photos and wanted to have her capture our wedding day. I can definitely vouch that Lia is as calming and reassuring as her pictures show. My husband and I are very shy and awkward and not very comfortable in front of the camera. Lia was able to help us through the awkwardness and made us feel so comfortable. Even my sisters praise Lia's skill! (they still talk about the oinks till this day 😉) Lia’s photos of us definitely captured what I saw in her portfolio and what made me feel that I had to absolutely ask her to take our wedding photos. Most importantly, my extended family, who were not able to take photos with us because of covid social distancing, love the photos.
