I enjoy clean up the parking lot after events were held at the center. Mainly because I take pride in my neighborhood. That is why I have also taken the time to trim the branches of some of the smaller trees located on the premises. It doesn't take much to participate in an occasional community service such as taking a quick moment to clean up then enjoy the excellent shade or bring enough friends or family to enjoy the volleyball area which is open to the public until dusk each night.

We had the reception after my uncle's funeral an awesome place to do things like this nice big kitchen stage plenty of room for tables

This community center was formally known as the Southeast Community Center. It’s a great center for kids and adults as it offers a public library, a food bank, and help for adults in job training. They offer Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for the community and members of the community can volunteer and donate. There is also a toy drive for those in need around Christmas time. This place is a great asset to the community around it.
