Ignore the haters posting negative comments. This is the most authentic Japanese street food I’ve had since having it in Japan (and I lived in Japan for a long time).
They were just featured in the local paper, so the hype is causing long lines and a bit of a crazy wait situation, but it’s worth it.
Had the takoyaki, gyoza, yakitori chicken set, yakisoba, and katsudon (missed getting pics of the takoyaki and yakitori - they looked so good, I forgot to get a picture lol). All were really good, but the takoyaki and katsudon really stood out as amazing - 10/10 for both! They also make chu-hi drinks, which is impossible to find anywhere else and they are SO good!
If I had to give a critique, it would be that the yakitori needs a bit more sauce before serving to get that authentic street side / bazaar cart flavor. And the gyoza were pretty average - I’d skip over those for pretty much any other appetizer next time.
Can’t recommend enough and I’ll definitely be back many more times to work though the whole menu!
It was phenomenal! I was highly impressed, I got the variety meats yakitori and seaweed salad since I'm doing low carb and it was so satisfying and tasty. Perfect amount of char and delicate flavor and the seaweed salad was fresh and delicious.
My husband got the yakiniku and the flavor of it was absolutely to die for, and totally what I'm getting next time.
Impressed by the quality, impressed by the options and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend enough!
