Well I come from a 30 history in business and shipping. Asked old D for a quote on a mortar mixer shipped from Texas to Washington state. Was quoted 1100.00 if palletized based on 750lb weight. We got a weight from shipper of 1500lbs asked for a price 4 days prior to pickup. They get it in there system then spring a $2400.00 price tag. Price over doubles and no call back to inform us of change. I buy the same mixer new shipped out of Atlanta to Spokane for $800.00 bucks. Its a bate and switch company. If anything changes from original order, like doubling cost of freight, make sure they dont get it in there system. Furthermore, I asked supervisor to look into why the cost and why they didnt get back to us on freight cost changes. She was sorry.......but not $1200 bucks sorry like I was. Never again old D.
