We like the idea of visiting chain restaurants we like. It is always good to get predictable food and very rare to get a bad meal at Olive Garden. Olive Garden in Prescott AZ is in a busy shopping mall next to Walmart and many people stop after shopping. We figured we would be OK at 2PM but it was pretty busy. It is a big place so we did not have to wait but service was a little slow because of the crowd. As usual I had my Chicken Parma with salad and my wife had soup and salad. Since we are traveling with our RV we also picked up a take out meal to put in the freezer for another night. Our waitress really tried but like many people they are light on help. I guess it is good for them as they stay busy they do OK on tips. I commented how busy they were and she said at lunch there was a wait line so we timed it well. I was a little surprised because the sauce was a little bitter and my wife plans to doctor it up a bit on the dishes we took home. I was pleased that the waitress offered us another salad to take home with the additional meal we bought I really enjoyed the draft beer since it was ice cold and come in from the Az heat it was welcome
Just stopped in this location for a quick bite and had the best service I’ve had in a very long time. I unfortunately cannot remember my servers name But she was fantastic. She easily took on my family’s request of extra bread and drink upkeep. I throughly enjoyed this experience.
