They kicked families out with no notice for their mistakes. This is really all you need to know.
I mourn for this place because it used to be so amazing. It used to put it's families first, but in the last couple of years it has made it's students a number.
I used to work there (about 10 years ago) and when I did it was a wonderful place. I recommended this place to everyone and anyone. They used to put the students ahead of everything else. Sure budgets were tight, but the welfare of the children was put first.
Recently I visited and the church had poured an incredible amount of money into things that only benefited them. All the offices had been remodeled, and looked beautiful, but the spaces for the kids looked neglected. There were large screen checkouts vs. broken toys. There were fancy, comfortable chairs for the staff & plastic chairs that were cracked and broken for the kids.
Last spring they through a garage sale in which families donated their used goods. In the last year the prices were raise by hundreds of dollars. The purpose was to buy a new sprinkler system to put the daycare in compliance with licensing for greater numbers. Apparently this wasn't done. this past week they kicked out 18 families. With no where to go. That day. It's amazing that a daycare in side a church can behave so blatantly un-Christian.
Can you imagine being given no notice that you don't have childcare anymore? That's what you'll get with these 'friends'. I used to love this place. Now I'm embarrassed that I ever recommended it to the people I love. Do yourself a favor: Go with a place that is held accountable instead of one that uses your money to pay for things that only benefit the adults and leaves the children out in the cold.
