A lot more potential for this boba spot. They have a limited menu with tea, dalgona, brulee, and smoothies. You can customize the amount of ice and sugar as well. Also, plenty of boba options too!
I decided on the Brulee Red Bean Matcha Slush. It was good, but I wish it was more of a slush as the name implied and colder. It was more slightly above room temperature and not as cold as I would have liked. The flavors where there, but just need better execution.
Nonetheless, a decent spot to get a quick boba fix if you happen to be af the Beverly Center Mall.
Yesterday I visited this place for a milk tea, I made my drink order on the kiosk to the right side of the store. While ordering my matcha milk tea it gave the option to not add boba, and to adjust the amount of ice in your drink. I literally requested NO BOBA because I have sensory issues & to add EXTRA ICE. When I received my drink, it had Boba inside of it. So I went to the counter and said to the short Asian girl with a mole near her lip “hi there, I’m terribly sorry but when I ordered, I asked for no boba and extra ice” she immediately got an attitude and said “it comes with boba” I replied “that’s perfectly fine but I requested for NO BOBA AND EXTRA ICE but if you don’t feel like remaking it then you can refund me” she started fumbling around with the register then said “I'll refund you and you can keep that drink” I then said “NO I don’t want it & again I don’t like boba, if I didn’t mind it then I wouldn’t be bothering you” Seems like because I’m black she immediately assumed that I wanted something for free when in reality I don’t want or need anything for free or cheap, in fact I’m the complete opposite.
Then she finally remade the drink, it was the nastiest drink I’ve ever had HONESTLY. So I threw it away immediately
That was all unnecessary! All she had to do was accept her mistake and remake the dang drink but instead she decided to give me attitude because she doesn’t follow instructions.
