It’s a cute and warm place! I love their ochatsuke and nigiri! Especially recommend the Mentaiko Special nigiri! It’s grilled to perfection, imbued with the smoky aroma. For the ochatsuke, I had unagi topping with green tea broth. It tastes really good. Agedashi tofu is not bad, but a little salty. Chicken karaage is delicious!
Overall. It’s good and cheap, definitely worth to try!
We lined up at 11:55am and got the last table in the first round on a Saturday. Any later and we would have had to wait 30-40 minutes, for the 1st round of people to finish. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before opening to secure a spot!
I highly recommend their Onigiri, musubi, and Donburi! Their Ochazuke was a fun experience (pour broth from the teapot into the rice) but I felt it wasn't as flavorful and not for me.
This place is definitely a must try! Just make sure to get here early! :)
