Paid a deposit for some appliances, advised the representative who was helping me that I wanted to verify manufacture warranty info as well as see the condition of a fridge that was currently in transit that I also was putting a deposit down on before proceeding through with the transaction. The representative told me that was no problem and I am more than welcome to verify that information before proceeding with the purchase. I was unable to verify the status of the manufacturer warranty and decided it wasn’t worth the risk, so I reached out to Zaid wanting to cancel my deposit. Zaid was willing to try and help me by offering me an extended 3rd party warranty, but after seeing the reviews of the 3rd party warranty I was pretty set on just getting new. He then advised me that the owners will not refund my deposit, so I am now going through the lengthy process of going through a chargeback.
I can’t really say anything about the actual products as I didn’t actually own any, but I am disappointed that this is the process to which I have to go through just to get my deposit back.
I was considering them to purchase some patio furniture as I felt a bit more easy about purchasing “B stock” patio furniture, but this whole ordeal has left a bad impression on me.
