Weird, expected a better experience with all these positive reviews so maybe that's why this was a disappointment...
Office was not proactive about notifying me they had received lab results necessary to prescribe on both occasions.
I felt I was being milked for copays -- ordered to schedule an appointment (and track down childcare) for activities that could easily have been handled in a 2 min phone call or email and which I had been told in the previous appointment no followup appointments were needed.
Told me none of his patients had severe liver reaction to the drug he prescribes for nail fungus... "Unless maybe they had spicy food..." but the clinical research I could find online said about 5% of participants were pulled from the test condition with liver function 10x outside of normal range. I asked the pharmacist about the spicy thing and he just looked perplexed and said take it at breakfast.
So now I'm 1 month into what was planned to be a 3 month treatment and I don't know my latest lab results just that he won't refill and wants me to schedule another appointment. Sorry piggies, I don't want to pony up another copay+nanny to be chastised for making my blueberry oatmeal too spicy.
But +2 stars for having the integrity to stop the RX if it was destroying my liver and not just a bid to collect another copay.
Hopefully your visit(s) go better!
